Parti: Architecture as precious gem
The Villa-Gallery House was designed by Makoto Yamaguchi in 2003 as a combination performance/art space and holiday home for a wealthy couple in Karuizawa, Japan. Each of the models communicate a particular detail or quality of the home in 3D; specifically, circulation, parti, poche, sight-lines, and one design detail.
Poche: Describing wall poche and threshold through continuous layered plywood
Sight Lines: Sectional model as viewfinder
